My lifelong interest is the nexus point of spirituality and science. I was Educated as a chemical engineer and technical writer, but always curious about the things that rationalism can’t explain. Explaining how energy transfer works via consciousness has long been an obsession of mine.
In the late 1990s, driven by my mystical wife Amanda we created an intentional community called Temple Terra Incognita (TTI) to explore the edge-of-the-world places where monsters and magick exist.
The TTI membership had several commonalities – an interest in sacred sexuality and alternative lifestyles, as well as ideas that were ‘outside of the box’. One of them was reclaiming the concept of Qadishti – a mythic priesthood from Mesopotamia 5000 years ago that used sex magick to connect with their gods to benefit society. The modern Qadishti movement which we were an active part of, saw a way to adapt this and promote sexual education, healing and celebration.
Beginning in 2002 this was done at a variety of festivals and kink events via workshops and rituals, as well as individual client work. Events were also held at our home/temple space in Chicago. Circa 2009 TTI created the Deviant Minds NFP, doing podcasts and later a large citywide event called SexFest 2013. Today Q outreach is done primarily through mentoring and the publication of relevant books and articles. However, we are most proud of the community members and friends that created their own Qadishti-oriented pathways – the POTQ is one of them.

My favorite part as a student was learning the history of the Qadishtu. More over, the years of giving loving touch to others, has given me a sense of touching their soul in a time of need.

Since completing the program, I have continued my Quadishtu practice through various events, classes, and within my daily life. May the Goddess smile upon you and leave you Peace.
Dolly is a 2013 graduate of POTQ I and planning to take POTQ II when it’s next offered. She’s been using energy for fun and healing since then. She enjoys facilitating the Scarlet Sanctuary wherever and whenever possible.

A little about me is that photography and energy work are my two biggest passions/hobbies and I enjoy constantly learning new skills associated with them. I’m passionate about learning new things about kink and energy and witchy stuff any opportunity I get.

Greetings! I am a level 1 Qadishtu, graduated in 2023. Historically, I started my education on “alternative” spirituality in the 90’s. I became much more focused and serious after my first class at the farm. I knew the POTQ training was for me as soon as I heard about it, even before experiencing a scarlet sanctuary. Since graduation, I have had the pleasure of participating in several scarlet sanctuaries as a giver and look forward to future participation. Additionally, I have used my increased knowledge of energy to curate how others experience both my home, and my presence.
